In my ongoing quest to beat all levels without losing any candy. Here the Vermilion Gym Challenge Level.

I let the Tentacools carry all five candies to the left bottom corner. I hit them low enough with Bulldoze, so I can finish them off easily when they return with the candy.2. The most critical part now is to defend the bottom part of the level. Especially the wave with the fast Voltorb.

So you need to take it down really fast. I focus-fired him with Bulldoze, Dig and Psychic twice.3.

I'm using my Dugtrios with Magnitude to finish the Raichus.4. To stop the Machops in the last wave I use two Psychic Pokemon at each side.

My stronger Alakazam with Calm Mind on the left side to protect the candies.Thanks for watching.

Obtainable Pokemon:.Left Side. 60% Zubat. 30% Geodude.

1% Clefairy.Right Side. 35% Rattata. 35% Spearow.

25% Mankey. 5% Ekans/Sandshrew.Ekans in red, Sandshrew in blueHere we have another level with a theme of split paths, this time there is space in the middle to put pokemon.

There are two middle spots, but you may have noticed one is a bit different. It’s color and position means only a rock type can be put there. It’s a great place for your shiny geodude, or regular one you can catch right here in the caves if you haven’t done the challenge missions. If you have a pokemon with teleport or ally switch you can bypass this limitation.It’s useful to have pokemon such as nidoran or mankey, they do have access to fighting moves which cut through the geodude easily.

Butterfree and pikachu are great to have as well to defeat the rest of the waves. You have to protect 3 of Brock’s Geodude over 9 waves. Every few waves there is an uncatchable boss geodude.Unlike other split levels you have to defeat the waves coming from both sides.

It’s easiest to up your strongest pokemon in the middle along with a good rock type, and two other pokemon on each side. A fun bonus to this level is the money drops will start increasing, you really will never need to worry about it again.

Overall a simple level if you have pokemon with the proper type advantages.
